Another great story by an amazing author! Not nearly as gruesome as some of his other books, but very well written!! I was actually late for work this morning because I couldn't bring myself to stop reading until I finished. Great read!
I swore I'd never read Matt Shaw again! Only cus it seemed my "dark days" were prolonged when i did. You guys get me. BUT Shaw goes and puts 3 books out I haven't read! Forbidden is not what i expected. See what you all think..
Good book. Couldnt put it down.
My issue is I don’t like loose threads hanging at the end- If you don’t mind not knowing what happened next then ignore my review. I generally avoid this kind of short story formula and now I remember why. The words “ The end” actually written , while I was sitting here wondering well what happens next made me want to throw the IPad against the wall.
Matt Shaw shows real depth as a writer in this short story. Not at all gruesome but a gripping tale of the critical breakdown of a family and the sad tale of their screwed up next door neighbor.I loved every word. Kudos Matt.
This VERY SHORT book was good! Not wonderful,not amazing!
Young people might like it....it takes a minute to get going...
That book was so stupid. I was waiting on anything to happen but fell very short of my expectations. The story should have been more focused on Andrew and what he did instead I read a book about some teenager who didn't want to move. Happy I didn't have to pay since I have kindle unlimited because I wouldn't have paid to read this
